The Fairmont Orchid unveiled the gorgeous new outdoor Spa Without Walls in December 2003. The new spa features 10 island-inspired waterfall massage hale, or houses, nestled among a flowing network of soothing waterfalls, streams and lily ponds. An abundance of verdant tropical flora, including blooming orchids, towering banana trees, coconut palms and more, create shade and beauty at every turn. Walking into the new waterfall hale village is like walking into the Hawaiian rainforest -- without the rain. A couple's massage hale allows for simultaneous treatments, and two 'puka' (window) hale are cantilevered out over the water, with a special floor window, allowing you to gaze at the koi fish while face-down on the treatment table.

The Spa Without Walls also extends to the water, where five new private oceanfront massage cabanas front the mesmerizing Pacific Ocean. Here, the gentle caress of tradewinds and awe-inspiring views are as much a part of every treatment as the healing hands of our renowned therapists. A couple's massage cabana is perfect for oceanfront tandem treatments. Indoors, there are six treatment rooms, a steam room and separate dry sauna plus a boutique featuring spa products.
